1. Sherlock Planes

1.1 Sherlock Planes is a one-person company, focussed on travel services. It is located in Keistraat 3 in Antwerp, Belgium under VAT number BE0724629392.

1.2 Sherlock Planes can only be considered as the middleman and cannot be held responsible for any issues during the booking process. No actual bookings for my travel deals will find place on sherlockplanes.com, customers will solely book using the link to a third-party website. Any issues during the booking process or after your booking can be issued with the third-party website.

1.3 My travel packages only consist of the service of the searching process, meaning the you will provide your preferences through the questionnaire after booking and I will search your requested vacation or trip. You will receive an email with all the travel information I have gathered on the internet, as well the booking links to the third-party websites. After accepting my proposal, you will book all of the necessary on the third-party website and I cannot be held responsible for anything that happens during the booking, after the booking or during your actual trip.

2 Travel deals

2.1 The person actually booking the travel deal or travel package must be at least 18 years old.

2.2 The prices described in the posts for a certain destination is the from price at that certain moment in time. Any deviations between the actual price on the third-party website and the price in my travel deal, I cannot be held responsible for and you will fully pay for anything from your travel.. Travel prices are increasing and decreasing at various moments in a day and is based on supply & demand.

2.3 The prices in the travel deals are bottom prices, meaning that those are the cheapest possible flight tickets or accommodation options at that certain moment in time. Any extras that you would like to book, such as extra or bigger luggage, insurance, seats, cancelation, or any other option that you would like to book extra are resulting in a higher price which you fully need to pay yourself. I cannot be held responsible for that nor need to pay for this.

2.4 All of my travel deals will contain a link to a third-party website. After clicking this link, everything that you will do is not my responsibility anymore. You need to make sure that passenger's details will match with the names on the passport. You need to make sure to check which vaccinations or any other information such as Covid-19 measures applies for your destination. You need to make sure that you arrive on time in the airport. Any issues regarding your booking can be issued with that particular third-party website.

2.5 Once a free travel deal is posted, content will not be updated with new pricing information anymore and I cannot be held accountable for any misinterpretation on that. I will put the specific deal in the "passed travel deals" section as soon as the actual price varies from the post, but this is no guarantee. Incorrect prices might also appear in the "current travel deals" section.

3 Travel packages

3.1 Booking a travel package, means that you are paying for my time to search and find your vacation based on your preferences. The prices of my travel packages solely include my service of providing you information and booking links, and will not be deducted from your actual travel. All of the booking links that I send to you, you have to pay for yourself as well any extras that you would desire as described in 2.3

3.2 After booking and paying for a travel package, an email will be sent to you with a link to the questionnaire. You need to fill this in so I know your preferences. After I received your filled in questionnaire, I will aim to respond with a few proposals for your vacation within 24 hours, but is no guarantee and depends on open orders. A maximum of 5 days is specified for receiving your proposal after filling in the questionnaire.

3.3 I am not involved in any part of the booking process, I will solely provide you the booking links and you need to do this all yourself. I will respond to questions that you have regarding the booking process.

3.4 I will send several proposals to you to choose from, such as different destinations or dates. You have 24 hours after receiving my email to book your options and accepting my deal. If you are not satisfied with the proposed options, you need to send an email back within 24 hours after receiving my email with clear new instructions on what you were not satisfied with and what you want instead. Sending this mail after the 24 hours window may result in expiration of the travel package and no new research will be done without a refund of money.

3.5 A refund only takes place after negotiating my proposals 2 times and still not being satisfied with my services. All replies to my proposals need to take place within 24 hours, or no refund will be given. A refund will only be given if the reasons are well-founded.

3.6 The price of my proposed options are strongly influenced by the questionnaire that you filled in. Sending the questionnaire, you are assumed to have entered valid and true information.

3.7 Be realistic on the budget that you fill in in the questionnaire, for example 100 euros is not sufficient for flight ticket to Bali. I am only able to provide the current prices of the third-party websites, and am not able to make any discount on that. I am guaranteeing you the cheapest prices on the market, comparing many different airlines, websites and accommodations for the dates and preferences that you described. Providing me a large date range, or no specific airport will increase the chance on cheaper rates.

4.1 The contents of sherlockplanes.com have been compiled with the utmost care. I am not responsible for typographical errors or any inaccurate information on the third-party websites that I am linking to. Any of the material on our site may be out of date at any given time, and we are under no obligation to update such material.
